Joico has entered the Anti-Aging category what can we look forward to seeing from them?

A- Well this has been an exciting year as we have thrown our hats in to 2 categories of the Anti-Aging market the first and my favourite is Hair Color - We have expanded our Vero K-PAK Color Palate and added AGE DEFY Hair color in 15 shades.  The second category is a small but much needed addition to the Joico family, we have coupled for the first time with our parent company SHISEIDO (a leader in Anti-Aging in skin care) to introduce  RE:NU - a way to turn back the hands of time in our hairs aging process.

Sounds exciting tell us more about what changes people will see with their Hair Color.

A- Okay, there are a few changes that clients will see in there hair some will be instant and others will be over time - most importantly we have made changes that are new to the hair color industry - like most manufactures of Hair Color Vero K-PAK Color focused mainly on Grey hair and covering it that is the industry norm however what we have noticed in our hair is that 2 other main changes happen as we age one is sheen & lustre loss the other being texture change.  As the Grey hair grows in we will notice either a finer more fragile feel or a courser more wiry texture to the hair, and let's face it the shine and the lustre we had when we were 20 is history we are always looking for products to ADD SHINE.  This is mainly why AGE - Defy in Vero K-PAK Color was designed.  Using this Hair Color your Colorist will be able to help control those issues with you noticing a difference after the first application. 

You mentioned new shades what colors will we see?

A- In the past we have offered a series of color specially designed for covering Grey they were a Natural Golden Brown perfectly formulated to make Grey coverage issues a thing of the past - Where we are now is a series designed that will include your Reds, Golden Coppers and even beautiful Eggplants and Mahoganies.  These new shades will offer gorgeous Color, Lustre and help to revitalize the texture we once had in our hair at the same time you can kiss your Grey away.

That sounds great..  Now What about RE:NU?

A- Like I mentioned earlier Joico and Shiseido have partnered together to bring us 11 exciting new products that will help to slow down the aging process of the hair.  As we age we have 3 main challenges that happen to our hair

• Increase in Fragility in the hair strand

What is a Primer, that is new to me?

A-     The Primer that you will find in both Regimes is a product to be applied once you are out of the shower towel dried hair right before you add your stylers, most simply it will Prime or prepare your hair for the application of the stylers of your choice.  It balances out or evens out your hair strand to give you the most out of your chosen stylers.

Is that everything because I count 10 and earlier you mentioned 11 products?
